1 Killed in Mojave Car Crash on Highway 58 near California City Boulevard

Mojave, California (March 7, 2023) – One person died in a collision involving a semi-truck near California City on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page, the accident happened on Highway 58 near California City Boulevard at around 1:53 p.m.

A semi-truck reportedly t-boned another car on the highway in unclear circumstances.

The impact of the collision ejected a man from the car.

One person was killed in the accident.

The county coroner did not immediately disclose the victim’s name, pending notification of the next of kin.
