Woman Dies after Car Accident on Telegraph Canyon Road near Paseo Del Rey in Chula Vista

Chula Vista, California (May 16, 2023) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Monday afternoon in Chula Vista.

According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the accident happened at around 1:28 p.m. on Telegraph Canyon Road near between Paseo Del Rey and Medical Center Drive.

A Ford F-150 was traveling eastbound on Telegraph Canyon Road when it collided with a Honda Odyssey that was making a left turn from Old Telegraph Canyon Road.

One man in the Ford F-150 and two occupants of the Honda were injured in the accident and were taken to local hospitals.

Sadly, the woman driving the Honda succumbed to her injuries while receiving treatment.

Additional information about the accident was not provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
