1 Killed in Bakersfield Bicycle Accident on Allen Road near Jomani Road
Bakersfield, California (October 16, 2022) – One person was killed in a bicycle accident that happened on Sunday morning in Bakersfield.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Allen Road near Jomani Road at around 5:45 a.m.
A vehicle is reported to have struck a bicyclist on the roadway. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
CHP says at least one person was killed in the accident.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
