One Dies in Hayward Crash on W. Winton Avenue 

Hayward, California (February 20, 2023) – One person was killed in a crash between two vehicles in Hayward on Sunday evening, according to the Hayward Police Department.

The wreck occurred at W. Winton Avenue and Clawiter Road at around 7:30 p.m. February 19.

According to the report, a 50-year-old man was driving a car that collided with another car driven by a 22-year-old man at the intersection.

The 50-year-old driver died in the accident.

The other driver stayed at the scene and was suspected of DUI.

The Hayward Police Department is investigating the incident.
