El Dorado County, CA.- One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in El Dorado County on Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened on Highway 50 near Camp Sacramento on Sunday, November 23.
According to CHP, a truck pulling a trailer was traveling at an unsafe speed when it tipped over at a bend and fell on an oncoming SUV.
A passenger in one of the vehicles was killed in the accident.
The conditions of other involved parties were not immediately released.
The highway was shut down for hours as authorities investigated the incident.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
