1 Killed in Studio City Crash on Highway 101

Studio City, California (February 26, 2023) – One person was killed in a traffic collision in Studio City on Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported on Highway 101 at Laurel Canyon Road.

CHP said two vehicles collided on the northbound side of the highway.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and performed life-saving measures on one victim found in the roadway.

The victim sadly died at the scene.

The highway was temporarily shut down as crews worked at the scene.

The CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
