One Person Dies, Four Critically Injured in Antelope Acres Crash on Highway 138 near 110th Street

Los Angeles County, California (April 11, 2023) – One person died, and several others were critically injured in a crash that also left a big rig overturned late Monday afternoon in Antelope Acres, an unincorporated area in Los Angeles County.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the collision occurred at around 5:44 p.m. on Highway 138 near 110th Street.

A dark-colored car and a big rig were involved in the accident.

The big rig overturned, and debris spilled out of the top of its trailers. The car acquired extensive damage in the crash.

Firefighters responded and pronounced one person dead at the scene.

Four people were critically injured, and a fifth party sustained minor injuries. The patients were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The cause of the wreck remained under investigation.
