Two cars reportedly crashed in the area and one person was trapped in the wreckage
Vermont Knolls, CA.- One person was killed in a car accident in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood on Monday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The wreck took place at 458 W. Florence Avenue at around 8:50 a.m.
Two cars reportedly crashed in the area, and one person was trapped in the wreckage.
The party was pulled out of the wreckage by emergency crews.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
One other patient was hospitalized in stable condition.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
