1 Hospitalized After San Francisco Accident on Highway 101 and San Francisco International Airport
San Francisco, California (February 25, 2023) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, one person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident on Thursday night in San Jose.
The crash happened around 7:07 p.m. on February 24 on northbound Highway 101, north of San Francisco International Airport.
Per the dispatch, two vehicles, including a 20 ft box truck, crashed for unknown reasons.
Firefighters and medics responded to the scene to attend to at least one person hurt in the accident. The patient was transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
A SigAlert was issued, closing lanes 1,2, and 3 following the accident. The SigAlert was canceled, and the roadway re-opened as of 8:11 p.m.
The vehicles were towed away from the accident location.
