1 Hurt in Truckee Car Accident near Heartwood Drive and Shaffer Mill Road

Truckee, California (March 7, 2023) – One person was injured in a three-vehicle collision that happened Sunday morning in Truckee, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident took place at about 10:32 a.m. near Heartwood Drive and Schaffer Mill Road.

Three vehicles, including a white Mercedes SUV, were involved in the collision.

One person hit their head.

Cal Fire and paramedics responded to the scene and helped one injured person. The patient was not hospitalized.

Police are investigating the accident.
