One Hurt in Fresno Crash at First Street and Belmont Avenue 

Fresno, California (February 8, 2023) – One person was injured in a traffic collision at an intersection in Fresno on Tuesday morning, according to the authorities.

The crash occurred at First Street and Belmont Avenue just before 1 a.m. February 7.

Authorities said a minivan slammed into a semi pulling a tanker trailer.

A passenger in the minivan was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the semi was not injured.

Authorities arrested the driver of the minivan on suspicion of DUI.

Authorities said the trailer was carrying oxygen at the time of the collision.

The accident is under investigation.
