1 Injured in Car Accident on 880 Freeway near 66th Avenue in San Leandro

San Leandro, California (February 21, 2023) – At least one person was injured in a Tuesday morning car crash in San Leandro.

The collision was reported at around 5 a.m. on the northbound 880 Freeway near 66th Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A big rig and a car were involved in the collision. The impact of the collision caused the car to overturn on its roof.

CHP says at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
