1 Injured in Collision on 5 Freeway near J Street in Sacramento

Sacramento, California (October 26, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a car crash that happened on Tuesday afternoon in Sacramento.

According to the CHP report, the accident happened on northbound 5 Freeway near J Street at around 2:26 p.m.

A blue Honda Civic and a Chevrolet Avalanche were recovered at the accident scene. However, the officers could not immediately establish exactly how the accident happened.

Officials say at least one person was injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
