1 Injured in Contra Costa Car Crash on 80 Freeway near Cummings Skyway

Contra Costa, California (February 23, 2023) – Authorities are investigating a traffic collision that left at least one person injured near Rodeo in Contra Costa on Thursday morning.

The accident was reported at around 6:28 a.m. on the eastbound 80 Freeway near Cummings Skyway, according to Caltrans.

Officials say the collision happened when a vehicle stalled on the highway was rear-ended by another car.

At least one person was injured in the accident and was hospitalized in unknown condition.
