1 Hurt in 2-Vehicle Collision on Grass Valley Highway near Poppy Lane in Placer County

Placer County, California (March 11, 2023) – One person was hurt in a two-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon in Placer County, the California Highway Patrol said.

The wreck was reported at about 3:21 p.m. on northbound Grass Valley Highway, just south of Poppy Lane.

Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. One person was trapped in one of the cars.

Authorities said the crash resulted in minor injuries. One person was bleeding. The victim was helped by responding emergency personnel.

The cause of the accident was not immediately established.
