1 Injured in Car Accident on 8 Freeway near Severin Drive in La Mesa

San Diego, California (February 8, 2023) – At least one person was injured in a collision on Tuesday evening in La Mesa.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on westbound 8 Freeway near Severin Drive at around 6:13 p.m.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision, however, the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.

At least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
