1 Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 4 near 80 Freeway in Contra Costa

Contra Costa, California (April 29, 2023) – One person was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that happened near Hercules in Contra Costa on Saturday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 4 near the 80 Freeway at around 5:53 a.m.

A motorcycle and a second vehicle were involved in the collision, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.

CHP says at least one person was injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
