1 Hospitalized after Danville Car Accident on 680 Freeway near El Pintado Road
Contra Costa, California (May 20, 2023) – At least one person suffered major injuries in a car crash that happened near Danville on Friday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 11:51 p.m. on southbound 680 Freeway near El Pintado Road.
The officers who responded to the incident found a Tesla and a sedan at the accident scene. However, the sequence of events leading up to the accident was not immediately established.
Authorities say at least one person suffered serious injuries in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
