1 Injured in Car Accident on 80 Freeway near Manuel Campos Parkway in Fairfield

Fairfield, California (April 19, 2023) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle collision that left at least one person injured early Wednesday morning in Fairfield.

The accident was reported at around 8 a.m. on Interstate 80 Freeway near Manuel Campos Parkway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Seven vehicles were involved in the accident. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was not immediately established.

At least one person was injured in the accident and was taken to an area hospital in unknown condition.
