1 Seriously Injured in Phelan Transit Bus Accident at Highway 138 and Highway 2

Phelan, California (May 24, 2023) – One person was seriously injured in a collision involving a transit bus on Tuesday evening in Phelan.

The accident happened at Highway 138 and Highway 2 at around 5:02 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

A black Ford F-150 pickup truck is reported to have struck a Victor Valley Transit bus in unclear circumstances.

The pickup truck sustained major front-end damage in the crash.

One person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment by the San Bernardino County Fire Department crews.
