One Person Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Collision on Copperwood Drive in Citrus Heights
Citrus Heights, California (May 17, 2023) – One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday morning in Citrus Heights.
According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the incident occurred at around 7:30 a.m. on Copperwood Drive.
Two vehicles collided for an unknown reason, trapping one person in one of the cars.
Responding firefighters freed the victim and transported them to a hospital with moderate injuries.
It was unclear how many other people were involved in the collision and whether they were injured.
The crash is being investigated by the Citrus Heights Police Department.
