1 Seriously Injured in Car Accident on Highway 99 near Eaton Road in Chico

Chico, California (February 2, 2023) – A major injury car crash was reported on Wednesday evening in Chico.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the accident happened on northbound Highway 99 near Eaton Road at around 5:08 p.m.

The officers who responded to the incident recovered three vehicles at the accident scene. The events leading up to the accident, however, were yet to be established.

As per the report, at least one person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

More details about the accident were not released.
