1 Hurt in Highway 99 Crash near Collier Road in Merced County

Merced County, California (March 7, 2023) – One person was hurt in a traffic collision that happened Monday morning near Delhi in Merced County, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident took place at about 9:29 a.m. on southbound Highway 99, just south of Collier Road.

A Toyota pickup truck, a van and a big rig were involved in the accident.

A male party got out of one of the vehicles and sat on the right-hand shoulder, bleeding.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and treated one person for minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
