Larkspur, California (February 4, 2023) – One person was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle accident on Friday evening in Larkspur, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The collision happened on southbound Highway 101, just south of Highway 101 at about 6:47 p.m. on February 3.

Police said six vehicles, including a red Ford pickup truck, collided. The truck was reportedly driving recklessly, causing the accident.

Emergency crews and medical personnel responded to the scene to attend to one individual who complained of chest pain following the accident. The patient was taken to the hospital for further treatment.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident scene.

More details regarding this collision were not released.

The incident remains under investigation.
