1 Hurt in Elmonte Car Accident on 10 Freeway near Baldwin Avenue

El Monte, California (March 1, 2024) – At least one person was injured following a multi-vehicle accident on Thursday night in El Monte, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The accident happened at around 1:24 p.m. on February 28 on the 10 Freeway and Baldwin Avenue off-ramp.

Per the dispatch, a Black Volkswagen Tiguan, a red Tesla, a green Toyota Camry, and a green Ford sedan crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Firefighters and medics rushed to the scene to aid at least one person injured in the collision. The total number of patients and their current condition were not immediately released.

Authorities blocked the lanes following the collision.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident scene.
