1 Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Collision on 280 Freeway near San Jose Avenue Off-Ramp

San Francisco, California (May 4, 2023) – One person was hurt in a two-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday afternoon on a freeway in San Francisco, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident was reported at about 2:22 p.m. on the northbound 280 Freeway, just south of the San Jose Avenue off-ramp.

San Francisco firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the slow lane.

The firefighters evaluated the motorists involved at the scene and transported one of them to San Francisco General Hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
