1 Hurt in Lakeside Car Accident on Highway 67 and Winter Gardens Boulevard

Lakeside, California (February 2, 2023) – According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, one person was injured following a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday afternoon in Lakeside.

The accident happened at around 2:19 p.m. on February 1, on Highway 67, north of Winter Gardens Boulevard.

Per the report, a Kia SUV and a red sedan collided for unknown reasons. The Kia and the red sedan sustained front-end damage following the accident. An elderly party was in one of the vehicles at the time.

Firefighters and medics responded to aid at least one person hurt in the accident. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately provided.

Debris was scattered in the roadway following the accident.

No additional information concerning this crash was provided.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
