1 Hurt in San Ramon Accident on 680 Freeway and Alcosta Boulevard

San Ramon, California (February 6, 2023) – One person suffered minor injuries following a two-vehicle accident on Sunday morning in San Ramon, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The accident happened at around 10:03 a.m. on February 5 on the northbound 680 Freeway, just north of Alcosta Boulevard.

Per the report, two vehicles, including a white Chevrolet Silverado and a black Toyota Corolla, collided for reasons yet to be determined. The Chevy sustained moderate damage following the accident.

Firefighters and medics rushed to the scene to aid one person injured in the accident. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.

The vehicles were blocking lane 1 following the accident.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident scene.
