1 Injured in Hayward Car Accident on 880 Freeway and Jackson Street

Hayward, California (January 30, 2023) – One person was injured following a multi-vehicle collision Sunday morning in Hayward, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The accident happened at around 6:10 p.m. on January 29, on southbound 880 Freeway and Jackson Street.

Police confirmed three vehicles crashed for reasons yet to be determined.

Emergency crews and medical personnel aided at least one person hurt in the accident. The patient’s name and current condition were not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident scene.
