1 Suffers Minor Injuries After San Jose Car Accident on 280 Freeway near 7th Street

San Jose, California (February 4, 2023) – According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, one person sustained minor injuries following a two-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon in San Jose.

The accident happened around 12:59 p.m. on February 3 on the southbound 280 Freeway, just north of 7th Street.

Per the report, a gold Chevy truck and a silver SUV crashed for reasons still under investigation. The SUV sustained significant front-end damage following the accident.

Emergency crews and medics arrived at the accident scene to aid one person injured in the crash. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.

The vehicles were blocking the lanes following the crash.
