1 Injured in Santa Clara Accident on Highway 101 near Trimble Road

Santa Clara, California (February 23, 2023) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, one person sustained minor injuries following a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday evening in Santa Clara.

The collision happened at around 6:03 p.m. on February 22 on northbound Highway 101, just south of Trimble Road.

Per the dispatch, two vehicles, including a Ford Escape, crashed for reasons still under investigation. The Ford sustained moderate front-end damage following the collision.

Firefighters and medics rushed to the scene to aid at least one person hurt in the accident. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the scene, and the roadway was cleared as of 6:44 p.m.

Further details regarding this crash were not provided.
