1 Injured in Fontana Car Accident on 210 Freeway near Citrus Avenue

Fontana, California (February 22, 2023) – According to a police report, one person was hurt after a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday morning in Fontana.

The accident happened at around 5:55 a.m. on February 21, on 210 Freeway, near Citrus Avenue.

Police said two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. The impact caused one of the vehicles to fly up in the air before landing on the roadway.

Emergency crews and medics responded to at least one person injured in the accident. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.

The vehicles were towed away from the accident location.

Gas was spilled in lane 1, the HOV lane, and the center divider following the accident.

The roadway was cleared and re-opened as of 7:07 a.m.

Further details regarding this crash were not released.
