1 Injured in Irvine Car Accident on 405 Freeway near 5 Freeway

Irvine, California (February 14, 2023) – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that took place Monday afternoon in Irvine, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident transpired at around 4:39 p.m. on the northbound 405 Freeway to northbound 5 Freeway transition road.

A white Toyota Prius and a green Jeep were involved in the accident.

One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Two dogs involved in the incident were picked by the patient’s friend.

Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
