One Hurt in Auburn Accident at Dollar Tree off New Airport Road 

Auburn, California (May 18, 2023) – One person was taken to a hospital after an incident where a vehicle slammed into a Placer County dollar store in North Auburn on Wednesday, according to the authorities.

The incident took place at the Dollar Tree off New Airport Road on Wednesday, May 17.

A driver was in the parking lot when their dog jumped into the the car footwell and caused the driver to hit the accelerator.

The vehicle went over the curb and slammed through the store window.

An elderly shopper reportedly fell as a result of the crash and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

It’s unclear whether there were other injuries.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
