1 Injured in Fresno Car Accident on Highway 41 and Shields Avenue

Fresno, California (March 16, 2023) – According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, one person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident on Wednesday night in Fresno.

The collision occurred at about 9:28 p.m. on March 15 on southbound Highway 41, just south of Shields Avenue.

Police said four vehicles, including a white Hyundai Sonata, collided under unclear circumstances.

Emergency crews and medics rushed to aid one party hurt in the accident. The patient was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Debris was scattered across all lanes following the crash.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident location.
