1 Injured in San Jose Accident on Highway 87 and Highway 85

San Jose, California (February 25, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle accident that hospitalized one person on Thursday morning in San Jose.

The accident happened at around 8:51 a.m. on February 24 on southbound Highway 87 and northbound Highway 85.

Police said two vehicles, including a Toyota RAV4, collided for unknown reasons. The Toyota sustained significant front-end damage following the crash.

Emergency crews and medics responded to the scene to aid at least one person injured in the collision. The patient was transported to the hospital to treat minor injuries following the crash.

The vehicles were towed away from the accident location.
