1 Hurt in Fremont Car Accident on 680 Freeway and Mission Boulevard

Fremont, California (February 1, 2023) – One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday afternoon in Fremont, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The crash happened at around 12:15 p.m. on January 31, on the southbound 680 Freeway, just north of Mission Boulevard.

Per the report, two vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation.

Firefighters and medics rushed to the scene to aid the crash victims. One patient complained of pain and was taken to Washington Hospital Healthcare System in Fremont for further treatment.

The vehicles were blocking the slow lane following the accident. Tow trucks were requested to remove the cars from the accident scene.
