Several Injured in East Oakland Accident on Foothill Boulevard 

Oakland, California (May 21, 2023) – Several people were injured in a suspected DUI collision in Oakland on Friday night, according to a report by the authorities.

The wreck took place on Foothill Boulevard and Church Street at about 10:15 p.m. May 19.

Authorities said a driver is suspected to have been driving under the influence of alcohol when they collided with another car.

A passenger in the second car was hospitalized with critical injuries.

The driver suspected of DUI was transported with non-life-threatening injuries while two passengers in their vehicle were treated at the scene.

The second driver was also transported with non-life-threatening injuries.

The first driver was arrested for DUI following the collision.

Police are investigating the incident.
