1 Critically Injured in Oceanside Motorcycle Accident on Highway 76 near Benet Road

Oceanside, California (February 21, 2023) – One person was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Monday evening in Oceanside.

According to the Oceanside Police Department, the accident happened at around 6:45 p.m. on Highway 76 near Benet Road.

A motorcycle was reportedly struck by a suspected drunk driver on the highway in unclear circumstances.

The motorcyclist was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to a trauma center for treatment.

The driver of the involved vehicle was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
